Curate's side letter comparisons become living documents you build up over a deal instead of restarting each time. Compare picks up a batch of Word-fidelity and workflow wins, Compare can also now compare attachments right inside Outlook.
Plus, quality of life improvements like dark mode has shipped across the whole portal.
New Features
Curate — MFN Election Forms Required Before Sending
Election forms must now be created and reach "Ready to Send" before the send option appears in the MFN table — previously, you could send straight from the table. We learnt that actually caused potential errors.
Curate — Compare Any Two Provisions
Select any two provisions in a family and compare them directly, with no anchor document required.
Curate — Annexure Export
New export option builds each investor final agreed side letter terms plus their elected provisions as a customary annex.
Compare — Compare Attachments in Outlook
Compare Word attachments and preview the result inside Outlook — no downloading, uploading, or switching apps. A new function even lets you compares several attachments at once, together as one, or in pairs.
Compare — New Home Screen on Outlook
Drop an email or documents onto the new Outlook home screen and it offers the right tool for the context!
Dark Mode
A dark theme is now available across the entire portal. Toggle it from the topbar or in Settings.

Choose which quick action tiles appear on your web portal’s home page.
Improvements
Add or Remove a Document Side Letter Comparison — add or remove a document in an existing report without rebuilding it; your groupings, edits, and comments survive
Word Output Fidelity — exported documents keep their original page size, orientation, margins, and columns instead of defaulting to US Letter
Comparison Document Counts — View Comparisons now shows a document count per comparison
Provision Sources — every provision now shows the document it came from, so side letter language is instantly distinguishable from election form language
Automatic Family Titles — families are now named from clause headings when a Master Side Letter is first grouped; dragging a leftover into a new family fills in its title too
MFN Distribution Tracking — the tracker now separates "exported" from "sent via DocuSign”, lets you set status manually after emailing, and lets you preview any document straight from the tracker
Election Export Detail — election exports now carry flags and comments, and a "Remove Titles from Provision Text" option strips heading prefixes from DOCX and XLSX exports
Append Leftovers in Bulk — select clauses in the leftovers tray and send them all to the end of the master side letter at once
Fund Document Selection — the documents panel now toggles between a single fund and the whole workspace, so nothing needs to be added to the fund first; shift-click selects a range
MFN Agreement Terms — edit MFN agreement terms without uploading a signed document first ("Upload…" is now "Sync status to signed election form")
Compendium Search — the Compendium search box now has a clear button
API Key Workspace Search — search for a workspace when issuing an API key instead of scrolling the whole list
Portal Tables — drag columns into a new order, resize them, and start from sensible default widths; a widened column shows the full cell contents, and long words in the comments panel now wrap
Word Ingestion Fidelity — Word files now keep underlining, strikethrough, small caps, highlighting, font color, and superscript on ingestion; content-control paragraphs, table of contents page numbers, and cross-reference/hyperlink field targets are preserved; multi-level numbering no longer borrows another list's counter; and page geometry is read directly from the file
Clearer Upload Errors — password-protected files now say so instead of failing without explanation, and unparseable Word files are converted and processed rather than marked as failed
Bug Fixes
Search results in tables now centers on the matched text inside the cell rather than the row, with a smooth scroll to it
Header and footer redlines in Word exports no longer show insertions as deletions
Simple Compare now credits the comment's author, not the uploader
Report families now group identically on every run
The pairwise alert is no longer cut off-screen
Master Side Letter Excel metadata is no longer blank
Every provision from an added document now lands somewhere — in a family or the leftovers tray — and failed or still-processing documents are dimmed and unselectable in MFN Election Analysis, so an analysis can no longer produce an empty compendium
The Delete Variant modal has its text back again
You can clear the Admission Date on a copied investor row
The Redline button stays pinned and visible in Compare in Outlook
Permission problems in Compare now read as plain English
The filter dropdown in Compare no longer clips on empty results
