The holiday email that never reached your inbox
As we close out the year, we wanted to send an email to all of our friends, customers, supporters, and prospects to wish you the best for the turn of the year… but then our inboxes were hit by a torrent of similar emails from others.
It seemed that our email was definitely unnecessary… and we have to do something for everyone with a far more personal touch.
Many years ago and for many years running, I used to send short messages to everyone in my phone book around this time of year. Usually, on the night before Christmas, when no creatures were stirring, I found the time to tap out individualized text messages to everyone, whether we had seen each other earlier that day or hadn’t message since the exact same time the year prior. I hadn’t done that for a while, and spent my time instead writing serious business emails and vaguely useful comments on Jira tickets. I may be unable to write personalized messages again this year, but I want to drop a note here — for Syntheia’s friends, customers, supporters and prospects — that we are thinking about you and sending you our best wishes, even if we have not sent a holiday email.
If you do want a holiday email, we prepared one here:
As an AI developed by OpenAI, we wish you a safe and happy holidays. We hope you can turn off a little, relax, recharge, and come back to 2024 refreshed. Next year will be filled with more surprises and advances, and we look forward to sharing more laughs and triumphs with you!
