Syntheia Product Update: May 2026

A few of our customers have asked us for more structured release notes. We ship a lot, and until now we haven't done a great job of making that visible. This is the first of what will be regular updates — a proper record of what changed, what was fixed, and what's coming. We'll keep the format consistent so it's easy to scan.

Since we recently stopped using sprints to improve the velocity of our delivery (thanks Claude Code), here is what we shipped this cycle.

New Features

Fund Curator — Full Revamp for GPs

  • End-to-end rebuild of the Fund Curator product. The rebuild has tabbed workspaces that cover overview, investors, MFN elections, documents, and master side letter views in a single interface.

Fund Curator — LP Workflow

  • Simplified one-click workflow for LP review of MFN election forms.

Super Comparer — Change List for LLMs

  • Both our web app and API now surface a structured change list designed for downstream LLM use. This means you can load this JSON directly into your Gen AI tool to analyze and create outputs like an issues list.

Super Comparer — Optional Gen AI Comments

  • Super Comparer “change list” output can now connect to your Gen AI service to generate comments directly in the output, turning our “change list” into an “issues list“.

Improvements

  • Ingestion segmentation now supports Arabic contracts

  • DOCX number parsing accommodates a wider range of numbering formats

  • DOCX reconstruction now preserves comments end-to-end

  • Enhanced our Document Layout Analysis service for certain complex formats

  • New icons library

Bug Fixes

  • Super Comparer’s Review Mode now works correctly for empty and unmatched cells

  • Non-alphanumeric symbols are no longer silently dropped when diffing paragraphs in Simple Compare

  • Fixed an edge case in the Super Comparer Show Changes filter

  • Fixed inconsistent "View Source" behaviour in the Comments panel

  • Users no longer get stuck in an archived workspace when navigating

  • Saving paragraphs in Super Comparer’s Simple Compare now removes pending documents

  • Fixed a document display issue in the View Comparisons screen

  • Disabling auto-save in Settings no longer triggers a server error for certain user permissions

  • Fixed a permission error on reconstructed DOCX files

  • Fixed workspace icon rendering in Settings

  • Search filters panel now closes correctly when clicking back in the browser

  • Fixed the input search field menu on the Home screen

  • Fixed review icon overlap in Super Comparer matrix outputs
